By garden stone your shadow glows,
The twilight whispers what it knows.
One glance, a thousand dreams take flight,
And weave their song into the night.
The roses turn to see your face,
Their colors fade in sudden grace.
Your eyes, two lanterns calm and true,
Hold every star the skies once knew.
Where ivy climbs, the dusk is near,
Its hush grows softer when you’re here.
One fleeting smile, the silence sings,
And night is born on silver wings.
